The HP StoreEver LTO-4 Ultrium 1760 Half-Height 3Gb/s SAS MSL Library Tape Drive Assembly with Sled (467729-001 / AK383A / AK383B) provides high-density data backup, automated archiving, and disaster recovery for enterprise server infrastructure. Designed for integration into HP MSL 1/8 G2 Autoloaders as well as MSL2024, MSL4048, and MSL8096 tape libraries, it delivers up to 800GB native capacity and up to 1.6TB compressed capacity per LTO-4 cartridge.

Manufactured by HP, this half-height tape drive assembly comes mounted on an MSL library drive sled for rapid hot-swappable installation. It features a 3Gb/s SAS host interface supporting data transfer rates up to 160 MB/s compressed (80 MB/s native). Equipped with built-in AES 256-bit hardware encryption and dynamic Data Rate Matching, it secures confidential enterprise data while optimizing backup streaming to minimize drive wear.
